Trip Description: Stand Up Paddleboards or SUP's are one of the fastest growing water sports that allow fun for the entire family, regardless of age, ability or size. You can enjoy a day on the water full of adventure and exploring while receiving a great core workout. Or you can relax and enjoy a peaceful on water activity, being able to experience nature without the hassle of boats and the sound of engines.
SUP's can help improve balance and co-ordination, strength and endurance and is also an amazing stress reducer. Paddleboard Yoga on your own time for a wholistic workout.
Lessons for Beginners
Never tried a SUP before, no worries. We provide lessons woth one of our Instructors who will walk (or stand) you through the basics of Paddle boarding and how to stay safe.
When to book: Lessons available at low tide only Mon-Sat. Times will vary depending on the tide
What's Involved: 1 Hour lesson- 1/2 hour lesson and 1/2 hour free time with your board exploring Avatele Bay.
Cost per person: $40.00nzd per person.
Passengers on board: Maximum of 4 people per lesson.
*Minimum age of 8 years old, no exceptions.
What to bring:
*Hat and sunglasses
What is provided on the tour:
* All equipment
* A short wetsuit or rashvest- this will act as a buoyancy device, wind and sun protection for the duration of the trip.
If you already love paddle boarding and want to hire a board for an hour or the day we have you covered.
Prices: $20 an hour per board
$50 for the day per board - from 9:00am to 4:00pm
You must be able to carry the board and be able to swim by yourself to hire a board.
